    Lyrics

Look in the distance beyond the castle gates
The armies of the damned have come
On the horizon they gather beneath the blood red sun

A thousand warriors, demons and orcs
    Charging like a tornado
    But they will never know
That their death awaits in waves below

    Release the Kraken (hey guys)
The tolling of the iron bell
Release the Kraken (I’m the Kraken)
Rising from the depths of hell

Out on the battlefield, the armies collide
And hundreds die where they stand
In screaming agony, the shadow of war across the land
    All across the land

Now let’s end the fight, it’s time to decide
Whose blood will finally be spilled
Our secret weapon, a specter of hate who’s born to kill
    He was born to kill

Release the Kraken (I’m in a song!)
    A creature of Satanic rage
Release the Kraken (who wants sandwiches?)
    Bursting from its sunken cave

Release the Kraken (ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding)
    Impervious to sword and bow
Release the Kraken (I’ve got a splinter)
    Death incarnate from below

Release the Kraken (Oops! I falled over)
All shall drown in his domain
    Release the Kraken (splishy splashy)
The harbinger of fear and pain

If you take out all the spoken parts, this is actually a pretty epic metal song.

I love the song and I just accidentally heard the beginning to both "Gimme Three Steps" and "Release The Kraken" side by side, and I thought it was interesting how much they sound so similar to each other. Love both songs 😁😊😍

Love how they credited the kraken for the vocals in the description. He did a great job 💙

This kinda feels like a DnD session, where everyone tries to have a serious adventure, the DM worked really hard to make everything epic and the players lean into it, and then that one guy thinks ´´Hey. Why so serious?´´ and begins with his silly shenanigans.

I never saw the video before this, so i always thought the kraken was just a middle aged bald man with glasses and a ticked in button up

Is this a sex innuendo? Like, Danny's trying to have sex, but he just can't get it on?

It took me many viewings to notice the superpuma and rhinoceratops. Also I don't remember the manticore, but I must have noticed that before, since he's so obvious.
