Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to go travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling, and we didn’t want to stop after just one year! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries and then all 7 continents (check out our documentary here:, we had no plans to slow down, until 2020 decided to force us to ;) which is when we bought a converted Sprinter van to start exploring our own country for the first time. #Vanlife was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎

I left Prescott, AZ, two-and-half weeks ago and drove all the way back to Nashville because my son, who had flown back here a week before to visit his sibs, ended up in the ER and hospital. Now we are "stuck" here for a while for physical therapy. More importantly, though, he is safe and should be okay long-term (he also got his Covid vaccine shots while here. Arizona let me take mine out there.). It seems like our trips may have coincided with each other. I share your anticipation of hopefully crossing borders soon and seeing new places. Safe travels.

Multiplication is 8th grade stuff? Not in Illinois when I was a kid--it was 3rd grade stuff. And I am OLD.Just a handful of years shy of Grandpa there. In 8th grade we were learning "the new math". Instead of solving problems within our normal "Base 10" system...we were learning Base 2, Base 5, etc. It was a convoluted mess--and thankfully school systems scrapped it after a couple of years.

I love the map. Already ordered and printed a copy to view and I am so excited. I ordered one for my kids. They are military and it's all their duty stations for the last 10 years including their next. So excited and the website was so easy to use.

Awww! 💗 My heart! Your grandpa is freaking adorable! Makes me remember all the time I spent with my Gramps in his business.... A mechanic. He used to joke and say that he only had me around cuz I was little and could fit my hands into very tight spots in engines and whatnot! 🥰 I miss him SOooOOoooo much! Please give your grandpa a giant hug 💚 💙 💜 and tell him that it's from a Maine-iac!!

Btw, if you take the vaccine, even with both doses, you are not 100% immune to the virus. So please be careful!

Thanks for the positive vaccine narrative in the video. The country needs more influencers to follow suit. I too used a drive-thru site and it was an awesome and well run experience. Oh, and I also hate shots, but the vaccine was barely felt! Also, grandpa teaching the children! I LOVE IT.

Jealous about the vaccination program in the US and the speed in which everyone gets vaccinated. We’re not even halfway with 18 million citizens here in the Netherlands. It is an atter joke here.

Thank you for getting the vaccine and being part of the solution instead of trying to piggy back on other people’s vaccine to get back to normal life like many folks seem to be doing these days. And yes there are questions about the potential consequences, but we know what the alternative would bring: more disease, death and financial disruption for many.
